The UYAF awards were established in 2009 to honor the achievements of leadership establishment in its education and artistry rendered to UYAF and the entire Artist and its community. As the highest honor bestowed by our organization, the MTPA Award is respected throughout the industry. Nomination criteria include significant contributions to the knowledge and leaderships of the Artist and its educational community ; in Technology, the design or invention of material, equipment process or technical services within the Arts and its community or influenced in the visual, performing arts as well as technology area which then all nominees will be granted to join UYAF OMAP online course starting year 2016. UYAF launched summer program study at NASA in year 2011 and Online course at Georgia Institute of Technology for Online Media Application Portfolio in year 2016.
All UYAF application form must be completed and submitted along with your application fee $150 check made to the UYAF, Mail in to : P.O. Box 237048 New York, NY 10023. For all your OMAP submission for all three UYAF programs via online with OMAP(Online Media Application Portfolio). OMAP is the prerequisite for all subsequent UYAF applications starting 2016 submissions.
To be considered for the UYAF nominations of winners and scholarship candidates, submit your OMAP or Pre-OMAP application no later than November 24th 2016. However for the late entrance, we extend the due date for late participants, we will consider all the applicants’ application received before the nomination of January 31st 2017 and winners will be presented at UYAF Award Ceremony Gala on March 18th 2017 in New York.
UYAF Annual Awards Categories
UYAF –Most Talented & Powerful Artist (MTPA) Award
As the highest honor bestowed by our organization, the MTPA Award is respected throughout the industry. Nomination criteria include significant contributions to the highly skilled knowledge, literature of the Arts and the proven scholastic leadership; To create design or invention of arts, material, equipment process or technical performances within the Arts and creation or expression of its community. UYAF members and non-member applicants can participate. Submit your Application for a nomination form and application. Cash $1,000 prize and UYAF Leadership Education OMAP Online Course(Value $1,095) at Georgia Institute of Technology 2016- 2018, Full scholarship prizes will be given out to the winner. Total prizes up to worth $2,095 USD and Certificate of OMAP by Georgia Institute of Technology will be given out to the MTPA winner.
UYAF – Dream Star Scholarship
The UYAF hosts and provides Dream Star Scholarship and presents scholarships to young students age of 10 to 23. Each scholarship recipient and winner receives a full scholarship tuition (Value $1,095)for OMAP (Online Media Application Portfolio) online course at Georgia Institute of Technology with a full scholarship. Total scholarship worth $219,000 USD will be given out to approximately 200 winners and nominees starting year 2016. Submit your OMAP via online here.
UYAF -MEDIA STAR Award
The UYAF recognizes how well you work as the Media Artist reporting the most under discovered issues and serves its community builder and industry of education to our community and its company to artist. Show off your best self- anchor and documentary book publisher on any worldwide educational programs, biographies, or documentary by Artist and its communities, in single media, multiple media and international media. AMBASSADOR Award
The Ambassador Award acknowledges an UYAF member who has made an outstanding contribution to our organization and volunteer programs in educational and school programs. For example, someone who has worked diligently to volunteer through UYAF or local educational programs, provided elite guidance and has contributed inordinate personal time to serving our communities and UYAF, or whose work ethic reflects high standards on UYAF volunteer programs. Superior Organization/Corporation Award
The Superior Corporation of The Year Award acknowledges a corporation who works diligently to enhance the professional standards of organizations, its industry and our community. They contribute their knowledge, influences, talents, creativity, and personal time to bring innovation to arts and our community as well as championed causes and are viewed as a leader by their peers. These Bestowed Reserve Award Programs relies on the generosity of individuals and corporations to help those programs in need.
