About Us

New York, NY (December 1, 2006) — On December 1, 2006, the United Young Artist Foundation (UYAF) proudly announced its official beginnings with the 2006 Commencement Media Conference, sponsored by Goodwin Procter LLP. Over 100 guests enjoyed an evening of video, spoken word, music, and discussion—all while exploring the concept of art and how it is defined by various mediums all over the world.

UYAF Chairman’s Letter

I joined forces with some of my friends in year 2006- both in and out of the art world  to create the United Young Artist Foundation. We shared the vision of developing a non-profit organization dedicated to introducing the Art world to both young artists as well as the public.  We strive to understand each Artist’s “true and real” potential to become a leader in our society, and as a result, we dedicate our organization to the development of an extensive list of strategies and profiles for success.

Our definition of “the Arts” uncovers intricate connections everyone shares in our society , from art in our everyday lives to art in history, technology, science, health, politics, and the media.  Success in art is determined directly by how the artist has affected our daily lives.  Therefore, to meet our objectives, we formulate a long-term plan, clear vision, and respect for each individual—as well as a shared mutual understanding of everyone’s roles in our modern society.  We have tried hard to make UYAF both educational and engaging for everyone. I wish you all the best in finding the vision and guidance that you’ve been looking for.
