Guidelines:
Juniors:  Your essay must be between 200 and 350 words in length.
Seniors:  Your essay must be between 200 and 400 words in length.

Your essay can be submitted in hard copy by mail or through electronic format on CD-Rom or 3.5” floppy disk. Alternatively, you can submit your entry via email to:

Acceptable file types: PDF, MS Word and RTF only.
Please note that only essays sent in electronic format can be displayed on the website.

Deadlines:
The deadline has been extended to June 1, 2015.  Late entries will not be considered or accepted.

Winner Announcement:
In each category the competition will be publicly announced by December 2014 via our website and through our International media outlets. International winners will be announced by October 2015 via email, phone, and our website.  All winners will receive their awards on December 2015 at our UYAF Annual Banquet.

Judging:
Entries will be judged on their originality, artistic merit, and how creatively they engage the mission of the United Young Artist Foundation.
